Kazuo Umezu appears to be attempting to blow everyone's minds with the sheer insanity he's producing here (or he was forty years ago, but despite its age and specificity of cultural commentary, this series is vibrant and modern, not a relic of the past). Each new volume presents fresh horrors and depravities to witness, and one can only hold on and enjoy the ride, never knowing what's coming next. This book sees a character who disappeared something like six volumes ago show up again, having inexplicably aged into an old woman and only staying alive long enough to utter a few cryptic words about a “paradise” near Mount Fuji. So, since there's nothing left for them where they are, the kids all set out across the wasteland to see what they can find. There's a lengthy scene in which they spend a good 30 pages trying to cross a deep ravine, culminating in an awesome bit of chivalry as Sho helps an unconscious classmate bridge the gap:
Hello my darlings! I'm so sorry I was M.I.A all day. I had a 2nd job interview today, which I think went well. I should know early next week whether or not I got - so please cross your fingers and send good vibes my way. After that, I was a busy bee meeting with job recruiters, and then running errands.
So anyhow, I'm sorry to leave you all waiting and wondering about THE DRESS. I was too tired last night to post pictures. Anyhow, THE DRESS arrived yesterday and I raced home from work, tore the package open, and couldn't throw it on fast enough. Please excuse the wrinkles - I wanted to try it so bad, I didn't bother to steam it first. Please also excuse the bra - it's clearly not the right one. Let me just tell you that I adore this dress. I love it. It is the essence of me. It's a “Kim” Dress. Oh and the size 0 FITS!!! I cannot tell you the anxiety I had over whether or not it would fit me. Well, it does!! Wahoo. I will say that I agree with a lot of you and the reviews that it's a bit small/tight up top. I will probably try the size 2 on when it hits stores here, but like my boyfriend said - it will more than likely be too big everywhere else. I have no problem zipping it up and the length is absolutely perfect. I'm 5'7″ and it comes right above my knee. Burlapp seems to cut their armholes higher than any other sleeveless dress I've tried on. Normally, armholes gape on me, but these are definitely a bit tight. Not tight to the point where they don't fit, just a teensy bit tight.
The material on this dress is gorgeous. I agree with Tien that the quality of this dress is impeccable and it seems worth way more than $168 to me. It's expensive looking and just lovely. I love how the top is sheer - it gives it a vintage vibe. I also adore the tiers on the dress.
The color isn't what I'd call cream. It's what I consider a true nude. There's very little pinkish undertones. Is it close to my skintone? Heck yes. Does that bother me? Nope. I love it. I don't give a rat's behind if it washes me out to be honest with you (but I don't think it does)!
This dress is perfection.
Is it not the perfect dress to celebrate your 30th birthday in? I cannot wait! I already know how I'm styling it for the big event, and I can't wait to show you all the finished look.
Thanks for putting up with all my whining and worrying about this dress. And now, here it is…..oh and warning - picture overload!
A daily recap of the Georgia Public Broadcasting show “Lawmakers”. The show airs weekdays at 7:00pm with a replay at 5:30am the following weekday
* Still in the time warp. This is from 2-17-10
* Nwandi still missing in action! Valerie back on the set.
* The Senate passes legistlation to prevent fraudulent insurance discounts. We didn't already have this?! Seth Harp says a grand a day is “chicken feed”. He actually used the term “one blamed thang”. He's pretty fired up. He's not running for Insurance Commissioner or anything is he? Naw. That couldn't have anything to do with it.
* Private ownership of public water? This sounds fraught with danger.
* Laura Fawaz at Hogwarts!
* This little nightmare bill is in committee. Chip Pearson wants to apply DOT language to the water controls. Of course the hippie river keepers are agin it. I have to say throwing building resevoirs into the private sector does give me a small case of the willies.
* Forest land protection act. My ears just perked up! This is about covenants of connservation. I let mine lapse a few years ago because of the potential fines and penalties if I ever sold. They are trying to shift that burden to the purchaser. Would have been nice if this thing had passed when I needed it.
* Scowling house clerks! The streak continues!
* Pilot program to allow the Secretary of State to transmit electronic ballots for our service men and women overseas. Interesting idea. It's not budgeted so we'd have to find grant money (meaning the Feds).
* Fulton County Taxpayers Association at some committee meeting. They're always riled up. That was the briefest clip ever. Valerie says we'll hear more in the future.
* Budget discussion with the Georgia Public Policy Foundation and and the Georgia Budget Policy Institute. The wonkiness is overwhelming. Bottom line. We ain't got no money.
* Harry Geisinger wants horse racing! I want casinos! More sin equals more money! Let the good times roll. We're getting a lesson in how pari-muteuel gambling works. I surprised the rafters of Hogwarts aren't crumbling
* Apparently Susan called Farriers - Ferrets. Good thing there isn't one nearby or she might have got a horseshoe upside the head.
* Rep. Matt Ramsey wants to increase penalties for harming court officers. He used a sports metaphor about penalties being harsher for striking the official. And this has Rep. Bobby Franklin (R - Crazyland) all riled up. He says it sends the wrong message that regular people of Georgia are less important than state employees. He just called judges state employees costumed in a robe. My god, can he get any more bat guano insane?
* Hospital tax is in sub-committee and it appears everyone in the state other than Governor Perdue hates this thing.
* Sen. Buddy Carter introduced his first piece of legislation and that means hazing! And it's about new drugs. Oh this is going to be good. They're making him pronounce the chemical names of the drugs. Oh, are they such cards! It actually is pretty funny and Valerie just flat out lost it. She can't stop laughing.
* Lawmakers flashback! Increase the Governor's pension. Ol' Gov Busbee claimed that term limits qualified as “involuntary separation” and thus a higher pension. Now that's some fine grifting. And there's a young Paul Coverdell. God rest his kind soul. They used old Lester Maddox to draw sympathy for the measure. Only in Georgia.
* Valerie is still giggling.
* Larry Platt! Pants On The Ground! HE'S IN THE SPEAKERS SPOT OF THE HOUSE! SINGING HIS SONG! The Republicans look horrified! Valerie is losing it again!
* Ricky Bevington and her BOOK OF DOOM! Morris News is in bankruptcy. No streetcars for Atlanta. And we lost one of Georgia's brave sons in the conflict overseas. Gay parade in Augusta gets the go ahead from a judge.
* Valerie's still giggling.
* Susan has to talk over the closing music. They are really running tight these days.Tomorrow we get to play Project Tom Crawford, but for now, that's a wrap!

The children have numerous remote control toys that they can work with the assistance of remote controls. They have any thing from rc car toys to rc construction toys. Our very little lady has radio controlled toys too. What they need is rarely adequate for the guys. I was shocked the least bit the shops have to supply in these sorts of toys. It looks as if simply about everything can be found with radio controls. Just recently we decided to buy our oldest young man rc UFO that’s pretty fashionable with the children these days. It is an additional toy with a remote, and he will’t seem to get enough of it. In earlier years they wanted only action figures. But that’s all altered. Children would not appear to be interested in toys which won’t do a thing. With his spaceship hovering higher than ground, he’s able to grow his mind’s eye even further. He started off with a very little remote control toy car and is currently operating the a lot of complicated and sophisticated toys. At initial we decided to buy toys that were not very steep. I do not suppose it’d have been smart to invest too much in younger kids toys. We wanted to make certain the children were accountable enough before spending a lot of than we were required to.
We also found some of the easy kits for building their own radio control toy models. They learned rather a small amount from putting together these things on their own. We could not imagine it had been our children unwearyingly building these models. We can’t even get them to sit down down and work a puzzle, but they spent a lot of your time operating on these gadgets. Almost immediately we were picking out more complex toys for them. We bought a few toys with remotes that they might use indoors. To begin with we selected a small rc robot for our daughter. She spent lots of your time enjoying with her little lady robot. We chose to get the dune buggy our youngest son needed and a rc hovercraft for our preteen. They were all three delighted with their toys and radio controls. We needed to start them out with indoor toys first. As they might end up being vanished or broken if they took them outside. However now they have moved on to much more sophisticated radio controlled toys. They’ve even got their Old man in on all the fun. He’s entered in with the children on these very little fun crammed activities. Nevertheless Dad’s toys run a lot a lot of than those we obtained for the little ones. At this instant they are out doors flying and running all kinds of vehicles through the fields. Our daughter had to have an rc airplane to fly with the boys.
My husband purchased himself some quite large rc helicopter that he carries a heap of pride in. The spaceship is the favourite of our oldest and therefore the rc cars is the favorite of our youngest son. He’s even had competitions opposed to his friends with their cars. Our daughters preferred is her fashion doll that does tricks on roller skates. However she conjointly has a ball with her little mini van and cars she has collected. Yearly they place additional rc toys like these on their Christmas list. Although we will never care. We have managed to get quite some academic toys amid these toys with remotes. Our younger little boy enjoys to find out concerning dinosaurs and other scientific things. There ended up being a ton of toys that had to do with that focus. You’d be shocked at how many toys that are accessible to assist you kid learn. Our youngsters were in a position to combine learning and fun with all the radio control toys they have purchased. Not to mention all the fun my husband seems to have along with his remote control toy compilation. Perhaps I ought to get out there and offer it a attempt in addition.

Alright guys, I know a bunch of you guys have them so I figured I would start a thread so you guys could post up pictures of your own. I dont care if it was a clear shell you painted or pre painted, stadium truck, drift car, road car, nitro, or electric. My body just got finished and I am working on another one.
I will start it off.
I recently purchased a Red Cat electric AWD Drift Soarer. It came with a pre painted body, but I dropped it off with Josh(ScorchedPaint) and had him paint it to mimic my actual SC400. I should have on frame pics later this week.
Our youngsters rooms have heaps of remote control toys. They have every detail from rc car toys to rc construction toys. Even our little girl has her preferred radio controlled toys. What they need is rarely sufficient for the boys. It was shocking how several of these toys you’ll realize on the market today. I could not imagine all that is out there that comes with remote controls. We just got our son a rc UFO that he has been wanting for a long time. It’s another toy with a remote, and he can’t appear to get enough of it. When the young lads were very little they were happy with their action figures. But that’s all distorted. Young people wish toys that can operate. He sounds like he will go where no one has gone before along with his spaceship. Primarily it was cars and now it is on to bigger and higher things. We also started all of them out with cheap rc toys and not one thing that would demolish us as far as money goes. We didn’t assume it had been intelligent to be excessively excessive when it came to younger kids toys. We needed to be sure the youngsters were accountable enough before paying additional than we were required to.
We assisted them get started with a quantity of easy kits for children to make their own models. It really aided them learn to stick to instructions and gave them a way of satisfaction. My husband and I were a little stunned that they place so much effort into putting together these things. We couldn’t even get them to sit down down and work a puzzle, however they spent a heap of your time operating on these gizmos. After a while we determined to kick it up a notch and opt for something a very little more progressive. We got them on track on a few interior remote controlled toys. Our daughter got the cutest very little rc robot. She spent heaps of time enjoying with her very little woman robot. We decided on a rc hovercraft for our oldest and a dune buggy for our youngest son. They all received such excitement out of playing with these toys. We wanted to start out them out with indoor toys first. There was simply an excessive amount of peril of loss or damages if they played with them out of the house. However we’ve trade up their exceptional toys. They’ve even got their Dad in on all the fun. He participates in their little outside activities now. But Dad’s toys were far more expensive than the ones the kids have. Now they are all out there running through the field and flying their gear. Our daughter had to possess an rc planes to fly with the boys.
My husbands pride and joy could be a huge rc helicopter. The spaceship is the favourite of our oldest and also the rc cars is the favourite of our youngest son. He’s also had competitions versus his buddies with their cars. Our daughters favorite is her fashion doll that will tricks on roller skates. She also likes her cars and mini van a ton too. Every year they place more rc toys like these on their Xmas list. Nevertheless that is all right with us. I was shocked at how many instructional toys come back with remote controls for our kids. Our younger little boy enjoys to be told concerning dinosaurs and different technical things. We have ordered him some toys that have a heap to do with science and also the dinosaur time. It is surprising how many educational toys there are for our youngsters today. Our youngsters are learning really much and having fun at the identical time. Not to say all the fun my husband seems to own together with his remote control toy assortment. Perhaps it’s time for good old Mom to own a hand at it.
